Before Jenny started writing novels, she was a singer-songwriter performing in Western Massachusetts and Nashville. In the summer of 2018, her daughter convinced her to release an album of some of her old songs. The surprisingly strong response to them motivated her to pick up her guitar and start singing again.
She spent 2019 playing live at various Western Massachusetts open mics and loving every minute of this new adventure. Since lockdown she and a good friend have been singing old time gospel and folk songs outside by the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls just for the fun of it.
